Agriculture in Warren County

In 2007, there were 1,010 farms in Warren County and each farm averaged 122 acres.  Total cash receipts from agricultural commodities was almost $40 million.  The following information from the Agricultural Statistics Service shows the breakdown of major commodities sold in Warren County.

According to the 2002 Census of Agriculture, the ages of farm operators by percentage is the following:

The average age of a Warren County farm operator in 2002 was 55.4 years old.
