Keep these dates in mind when you are completing your enrollment form and choosing your project animals. Animals that are not in your possession by the dates listed below will not be allowed to show at the county fair.

4-H members planning to exhibit a county bred feeder calf at the county fair this year must complete a CB Feeder Calf Registration Form. Entry deadline is Thursday, June 1.

News Item Interested in being Fair Royalty?
Applications are now available to be a candidate for 2012 Fair King or Fair Queen. Contestants must be between the ages of 16 and 19 as of January 1, 2012 and a member in good standing of one of the following Warren County organizations: schools, FFA/FHA. Farm Bureau, Grange, 4-H, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts or Campfire.

Preble County will host the State Fair Qualifying Show at the Preble County Fairgrounds in Eaton this year.
News Item Ohio State Fair Scholarships Available
In an effort to recognize the quality youth of Ohio, and to help those interested in furthering their education, the Ohio Expositions Commission has established a Scholarship Program. Twenty different scholarships will be awarded.

This annual event is sponsored by the Clover Canine 4-H Club. Events include You & Your Dog, Obedience, Showmanship and Skillathon. This event is open to any 4-H member enrolled in a dog project.
News Item Goat Clinic on June 16 sponsored by Warren County Dairy Goat Club
The focus of the clinic will be preparing to show your goat at the county fair. 4-H members enrolled in goat projects are invited to bring a goat (optional) to practice showmanship.
