Renewing Your License Plates Soon?

Show your 4-H pride while supporting the Ohio 4-H Foundation! Proceeds from the sale of Ohio 4-H license plates will benefit the 4-H Center and the Ohio 4-H Foundation.

Remember Possession Dates When Choosing Your Projects

Keep these dates in mind when you are completing your enrollment form and choosing your project animals. Animals that are not in your possession by the dates listed below will not be allowed to show at the county fair.

Interested in Joining the 4-H Livestock Judging Team?

The Warren County 4-H Livestock Judging Team is open to any Warren County 4-H member that has an interest in learning how to judge beef cattle, sheep, hogs and goats. If you have any questions about the livestock judging program, please contact Greg Meyer, Extension Educator & Team Coach at (513) 695-1311.

2012 Project Guidelines have been updated to include all new and revised projects.

County Bred Feeder Calf Forms Available Now

4-H members planning to exhibit a county bred feeder calf at the county fair this year must complete a CB Feeder Calf Registration Form. Entry deadline is Thursday, June 1.

4-H Camp Registration available now

Summer camp offers a variety of new educational experiences for youth: opportunities for self discovery and accomplishment, group living and teamwork, new friendships, new skills and plenty of just plain fun! Registration forms are now available on this web page or from the Extension office.

2012 Fairbook available online

Junior Fair sections of the fair book are now available for you to review on-line, or download and print.

Interested in being Fair Royalty?

Applications are now available to be a candidate for 2012 Fair King or Fair Queen. Contestants must be between the ages of 16 and 19 as of January 1, 2012 and a member in good standing of one of the following Warren County organizations: schools, FFA/FHA. Farm Bureau, Grange, 4-H, Girl Scouts, Boy Scouts or Campfire.

Miami Valley PAS Show scheduled for Saturday, June 23

Preble County will host the State Fair Qualifying Show at the Preble County Fairgrounds in Eaton this year.

Ohio State Fair Scholarships Available

In an effort to recognize the quality youth of Ohio, and to help those interested in furthering their education, the Ohio Expositions Commission has established a Scholarship Program. Twenty different scholarships will be awarded.

Warren County 4-H Dog Fun Match

This annual event is sponsored by the Clover Canine 4-H Club. Events include You & Your Dog, Obedience, Showmanship and Skillathon. This event is open to any 4-H member enrolled in a dog project.

Goat Clinic on June 16 sponsored by Warren County Dairy Goat Club

The focus of the clinic will be preparing to show your goat at the county fair. 4-H members enrolled in goat projects are invited to bring a goat (optional) to practice showmanship.

Consider Applying for a Spot on the State 4-H Fashion Board

The State 4-H Fashion Board is the small group of outstanding 4-H teen clothing members selected from across the state to a) assist in conducting the State Fair 4-H Fashion Revue, 4-H clothing workshop sessions, and other events, and to b) promote Ohio 4-H clothing projects and programs.
