4-H Camp Schedule & Registration Info
Summer camp offers a variety of new educational experiences for youth: opportunities for self discovery and accomplishment, group living and teamwork, new friendships, new skills and plenty of just plain fun!

Teen Camp
Date: May 19-20
at 4-H Camp Graham, Clarksville
Cost: TBD
This camp is a great opportunity to introduce new people to 4-H Camp Graham, help prepare the camp for the summer season, and have a weekend full of fun, friendship and good times while you work - including a campfire Saturday evening.
Camp activities typically start on Saturday morning at 10:00 am and conclude at 2:00 pm in Sunday afternoon. Full-time participation is required.
Teens will be divided into work groups of 4-5 teens with an adult project leader. Work groups will be assigned projects to complete for the weekend. (Examples: making and painting directional signs; building bunk beds and benches; general camp clean-up projects and repairs; Trail check and improvements; and other hands-on camp improvements)
Registration materials for this camp will be available in March.
Camp is open to all teens who are currently 13 or older.
Horse Camp
Thursday through Sunday, June 14 - 17
at the Warren County Fairgrounds, Lebanon
Cost: TBD
Camp is limited to Warren County 4-H members, in grades 3 through 8, who are currently enrolled in a 4-H horse project. Horse Camp is geared toward helping beginners gain riding experience and intermediate riders gain confidence by offering classes that sharpen riding skills and horse knowledge. Horsemanship, Equitation, Gymkhana, and Trail Riding are just a few of the sessions typically offered.
New this year is our Miniature Horse program with clinics geared specifically to the miniature horse exhibitor. Topics being considered include: showmanship, ground driving, in-hand trail and jumping.
There will also be a variety of other activities such as a campfire, crafts, dance and a horse show carnival. Campers are expected to bring and be completely responsible for the care of their horse during camp.
Registrations will be accepted on a first come, first served basis starting Monday, May 1.
Limited to the first 50 registrants.

Artist Day Camp
Monday through Friday, June 25 - 29
Lebanon Presbyterian Church

This day camp is designed for young people with an interest in art techniques and principles. Campers will be involved in new art projects each day as well as a ctivities developed around a daily theme.
Registrations will be accepted from Warren County 4-H members starting Monday, May 1.
Non-member registrations will be accepted beginning Monday, May 8.
Campers must have completed 1st grade but not yet entered high school.
Limited to the first 50 registrants.
Registration closes June 18, 2012.
County Camp
Sunday through Thursday, July 29 - August 2

Cost: TBD/4-H member; TBD/non-member
Looking for a traditional camp experience complete with campfires, songs, skits, adventure hikes, swimming, canoeing, team challenges, talent show and recreation in an outdoor setting? County Camp is the place! In addition, campers will select a workshop to focus on for the week. Typical workshops old favorites like: Crafts, Cooking, Dance, Sports and Swimming plus some new "theme-based" options like: Science Fun, Projectiles, Survivor and National Geographic.
Regisrations will be accepted from Warren County 4-H members beginning May 1.
Non-member registrations will be accepted beginning Monday, May 8.
Limited to the first 125 registrants (50 boys, 75 girls).
Campers must have completed the third grade, but not yet attended high school.
Registration closes July 6, 2012.
