4-H Camp

General Information about 4-H Camp.

4-H Camp is held in June at Camp Kirkwood in Wilmington.  4-H Camp offers a wide variety of fun activities such as archery, swimming, canoeing, fishing, recreational sports, flag ceremonies, nature hikes, cardboard boat-building, low challenge course, team games, under the stars camping and lots of cabin fun with well-trained camp counselors and many other boy and girl campers who are close in age.

Camperships are available for families who have financial need. The camp canteen will have t-shirts and snacks available for sale.

 

 

4-H Camp counselor applications are due in the Ohio State University Extension office by the deadline noted on the application.  Applicants must participate in a 4-H camp counselor selection evening in February.  Selected counselors will attend a series of training sessions to help prepare them for their duties as counselors for 4-H camp.
