 NONPROFIT FISCAL and RISK MANAGEMENT SEMINARS

Is Your Nonprofit Board Prepared During These Uncertain Economic Times?

Two nonprofit board seminars will be offered April 23 and 30, from 1-4 pm at the Portage County OSU Extension Office meeting room in Ravenna. Organizations may register for $25, for up to five participants, per seminar. Individuals may register for $15 each. Pre-registration is required by April 21 through OSU Extension, Portage County.

On April 23 the ‘Board Oversight of Financial Management Seminar’ will cover board member risks and responsibilities related to proper fiscal oversight. Focus will be on best practices and fiscal hot topics for nonprofit boards.

Is your nonprofit positioned to face risk management issues? The seminar on April 30, ‘Nonprofit Risk Management Policies and Practices,’ will focus on the top ten risk management concerns in nonprofit organizations today. Recommended risk management policies and practices will be identified.
