Ohio Beef Cattle School 2011
OSU Extension Beef Team Presents the Ohio Beef Cattle School 2011
Northeast Ohio Beef Producers
Please make plans to join us Thursday evenings for the 2011 OSU Extension Beef Team’s Ohio Beef Cattle School. This year’s school will utilize technology in the delivery of the sessions. Speakers for the five-session Ohio Beef Cattle School for 2011 will be live at several locations but broadcasting using webex technology to the Portage County Extension Office. Participants will see and follow the presenter’s PowerPoint slides and hear their voice and will have the opportunity to ask questions to the presenter from our host site while the presenter is physically present at only one site. The sessions will begin promptly at 7:00 pm and last for approximately two and one-half hours.
Featured topics and presenters include:
· February 3~New Technologies and Strategies in Cow Reproduction - Dr. Mike Day, Ohio State University
· February 10~Mineral Nutrition for the Cowherd - Dr. Francis Fluharty, Ohio State University
