All opportunities that are available to the 4-H members who apply are listed here. Many of the opportunities are only posted in the first few months of each new year so make sure you check it often during those times.
Super Volunteer Nomination Form
Do you know of a volunteer who has done an exceptional job promoting and assisting 4-H members and volunteers during the past year? Ohio 4-H offers a variety of awards and opportunities at the state level.
Please contact your county OSU Extension Office for deadlines. The forms must be signed by the Extension Educator, 4-H Youth Development before they are submitted. All Achievement Records and any additional required applications must be submitted to the Extension Office by 4:30 p.m. on Monday, January 24, 2011. All application materials must be in the State 4-H Office by February 1, 2011.

2011 Information Sessions for 4-H Members, Advisors and Parents
Come and learn about the opportunities and scholarships available to your older youth/teen members. Check out display boards designed by other 4-H members featuring sponsored trips, review instructions on how to complete your applications, pick up copies of applications or learn where to find them on-line, and ask your questions one-on-one to the 4-H Youth Development Educator!

Cloverbud Day Camp Counselor Information and Forms

2011 Junior Leader Information
The Portage County 4-H Junior Leader Club is for 13 - 19 year olds residing in Portage County who are interested in further developing their leadership, decision making, problem solving, and communication skills. The meetings are held monthly at the Extension Office in Ravenna on the second Wednesday of each month from 7:00 - 8:30 pm. Please contact Ed Werner, Extension Educator, 4-H Youth Development, at 330.296.6432 or werner.48@osu.edu.
