About 4-H
4-H is a community of young people across America….who are learning leadership, citizenship, and life skills through hands-on activities that allow for learning by doing. All 4-H programs focus on active involvement and quality experiences which stimulate lifelong learning of values and skills. 4-H activities include: club participation, volunteer opportunities for adults and teens, summer camping programs, county & state fair participation, and opportunities for participation in state, national, and worldwide activities! Morgan County currently has 32 clubs with over 500 members, ages 5-18, and over 100 adult volunteers devoting time and talents to the program. Club members participate in project-learning on topics such as Arts & Writing, Food & Nutrition, Healthy Lifestyles, Livestock & Small Animals, Clothing & Textiles, Photography, Engineering & Woodworking, Leadership, Home Decorating & Design, Money Management, and MUCH MORE!
