2012 HOME GARDENERS WORKSHOP
Registration is now open for our 11th Annual Home Gardeners one-day workshop featuring horticultural experts speaking on topics for home landscapes. The workshop will be held at Lakeland Community College on Saturday, March 10, 2012. Registration packets will be distributed and light continental breakfast served from 8:15 to 9:00 a.m. Introduction and keynote speaker session will begin at 9:00 a.m. Workshop Session will continue throughout the day until 3:45 p.m. This workshop program is open to home gardeners, Master Gardener Volunteers and anyone interested in these topics.

Our Extension office is grateful for the continued financial support of the Lake County Commissioners. Budget cuts have impacted every department in the county, including our own. With our recent reduction in staff, our office hours have changed. We are now open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to noon and 1:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. It may be best to call before you visit to be sure the office is staffed. Thank you for your support in this time of transition.

This workshop titled “Financial & Tax Implications of Oil & Gas Leases/Royalties in Northeast Ohio will feature David Marrison, OSU Extension Associate Professor, who will discuss the financial and tax implications of Marcellus Shale Leases.
