HC 4-H Scholarship Information

Henry County high school seniors and current college students who are 4-H alumni of Henry County may now access the scholarship information.

HC 4-H Endowment invites high school seniors and current college student who are or were HC 4-H members to apply for college scholarships by January 20, 2012. The committee has the following scholarships currently available. Brief requirements for eligibility for the scholarships are listed after the scholarship name for your convenience.   • BOB COLE SCHOLARSHIP~ Eligible applicants include those who are or were in Henry County 4-H (or FFA) and are planning to enroll in the field of agriculture at The Ohio State University. One recipient is selected per year.
  • 4-H ENDOWMENT SCHOLARSHIPS~ Eligible applicants include those who are Seniors in high school or a first, second or third year college student.  No specific institution of high learning nor field of study is required. A total of 3 high school Seniors and one current college student is selected per year.
  • CHAMBERS' FAMILY BOOK SCHOLARSHIP~ The Daniel Chambers' Family of Liberty Center provides a $200.00 scholarship to a present or former HC 4-H member who is currently attending or will be attending a four-year college or nursing school within 2012. The money is intended for use in the purchase of a textbook.
  • MISTY SPURGEON 4-H MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP~ Tom & Vicki Spurgeon along with their son Matthew and daughter Crystal,  wishes to honor their daughter/sister Misty who passed in 2008. A worthy Senior pursuing higher education in the field of journalism/photography and has been an active member of 4-H in HC are invited to apply.
  • 4-H HORSE COUNCIL SCHOLARSHIP~ Eligible applicants include a current 4-H member of Henry County 4-H who is enrolled in a horse project and is active in the horse program in the county. Please use the 4-H Endowment Scholarship application form.
