About Family and Consumer Sciences
- Parenting education, money management programs, Dining with Diabetes cooking classes, and much, much more are offered through Hancock County's Family and Consumer Sciences programming. Extension Educator, Barb Brahm leads many collaborative efforts to help make Hancock County a great place to live and raise children. In fact, the community is a 4-time winner of America's Promise 100 Best Communities for Young People award!

Money Count$ & HancockSAVES
- The Money Count$ program at OSU Extension Hancock County exists to provide individuals within our community access to financial management tools. HancockSAVES is affiliated with AmericaSAVES and seeks to increase individual savings of youth and adults. HancockSAVES is also a United Way Partner Agency.

Food Safety and Preservation
- Thanks to a new partnership between The Kroger Co. and the Center for Innovative Food Technology (CIFT) Ohio State University Extension's Food Safety Hotline is now more available than ever. The phone# is 1-800-752-2751 with trained responders available 9am-5pm Monday - Friday. After hours, you can leave a message for the hotline staff to return your call.
