2013 Small Farm Conference - "Opening Doors to Success" Program & registration info is now available

This intensive conference will give you the opportunity to choose from different seminars taught by Extension professionals and industry leaders on a wide variety of agricultural enterprises. A tradeshow representing the many industries servicing small farms will be present for you to visit with throughout the two day event.

Small farm owners who want to learn more about how to make their farms work better for them by increasing profits, increasing marketing efforts, expanding operations or adding new educational or agritainment amenities, can attend workshops and presentations on these and more issues during the conference. 

The "Opening Doors to Success" conference and trade show is designed to help producers learn more tips, techniques, methods, and increase issue awareness to make their small farm operations more successful, which can lead to increased farm profits

The Ohio State University has begun a new fund-raising campaign to support students from all 88 Ohio counties. The "Ohio Scholarship Challenge" seeks to raise $100 million in general undergraduate scholarship funds for Ohio State students at all campuses. This Challenge is also part of the university’s larger effort to raise $500 million in private funds for student financial aid and scholarships. The Ohio Scholarship Challenge honorary co-chairs are Ohio State head football Coach Urban Meyer and men’s basketball Coach Thad Matta.
