Ø    Attendees fulfill Quality Assurance requirement for the year.

 

Ø    Event designed for 4-H and FFA members in Fayette, Clinton, Ross, and Pickaway Counties. Junior members from other counties may also attend and receive QA credit.

 

Ø    Seminar will cover aspects of:

v   Showmanship

v   Nutrition & Medication

v   Selection

v   Live animals will be available for demonstrations

 

Ø    Please let your contact person know of your intentions to attend. Pre-registration is not required and there is no cost, this is just for an approximate head count.

COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Ohio Department of Agriculture today (6/17) announced the first discovery of Asian longhorned beetle (ALB) in Ohio. An exotic, invasive insect that kills maples and other trees, ALB was found in Bethel, Clermont County, in southwest Ohio.
