Free Children's Workshops - "Butterfly Gala" & "Creative Cocoons"
The Clinton County Master Gardeners in collaboration with No Child Left Indoors will be hosting two FREE educational children's workshops as part of the annual Earth Day activities to be held April 24, 2010 at the Wilmington Municipal Building. These workshops are for all children. "Butterfly Gala" participants will construct and learn about the rearing of butterflies. "Creative Cocoons" is for children ages 8 and up and will focus on the local members of the Giant Silk Moth family and the production of natural fiber silk, as well as the art of silk painting. Participants will make and take home creations of their own.
