It’s that time of year to start thinking about 4-H for many residents in Clinton County and all over the state! And this is the best time of year for people who haven’t been in the program to learn about 4-H. If you’ve ever wondered how do you join? Is there a fee? What can you take in 4-H? To answer all of these questions and many more we’d like to invite the entire community to the Clinton County 4-H Winter Fair. That’s right, a fair in March with games, animals, food and more.

The 4-H Winter Fair will be at the Fairground on Saturday, March 3th from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. We can’t promise sunshine and warm weather, but we will have animals, hands on learning, snacks, demonstrations and lots of fun. Everyone is welcome to attend the fair for free.

The Expo Building will be filled with almost every project 4-H members have taken in Clinton County. Each booth will have examples of 4-H projects, books available for each project and a member or volunteer will be there to answer questions. A few examples of 4-H projects include: science, athletics, clothing, Cloverbuds, creative arts, electricity, field crops, fishing, gardening, gun safety, health, home decorating and designing, collectibles, money managements, natural resources, photography, theater arts projects, livestock, horses, dogs and several others.

This is your opportunity to learn about 4-H and ask questions about how to sign up, how much will it cost, where you would meet, what you could take in 4-H, and how much fun it would be to become a member of the Clinton County 4-H program. Bring your parents, grandparents, friends, brothers or sisters and enjoy an exciting day packed full of fun, learning and new opportunities. We hope to see you there.

Winter Fair will be March 3 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Clinton County Fairground located at 958 W Main Street in Wilmington.

For additional information and questions please call the OSU Extension office at 937-382-0901 or access information online at http://clinton.osu.edu.
