ServSafe® Food Safety Training

The ServSafe ® program is the industry standard in food-safety training. The ServSafe® program provides accurate, up-to date information for all levels of employees in handling food, from receiving and storing to preparing and serving.

ServSafe® Employee Training
Level 1 Training

Following completion of this 4 hour course, your employee will receive a certificate of completion. This class meets the guidelines of the Ohio Department of Health's Level One certification in Food Protection.

2012 Dates:  February 14, May 1, July 10, October 9 and December 4

Time:  12:30 to 4:30 p.m.

Location:  Clark County Agricultural Agencies Building, 4400 Gateway Blvd. in the Prime Ohio Corporate Park

Cost:  $25.00 per employee (includes course materials and handouts)
          This program requires a minimum number of registrants.

Who Should Attend:   It is appropriate for food handlers at restaurants, convenience stores, schools and civic groups who prepare food for sale.

ServSafe® Manager Training
Level 2 Training

 You will learn new and revised food safety and health regulations in this sixteen hour class. Following successful examination, you will be certified by the National Restaurant Association.

2012 Dates:  March 13 & 20 and September 11 & 18

Time:  8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Location:  Clark County Agricultural Agencies Building, 4400 Gateway Blvd. in the Prime Ohio Corporate Park

Cost:  $150.00 per manager (includes course materials, handouts, lunch and snack breaks)
This program requires a minimum number of registrants.

Who Should Attend:  Owners, general managers, mid-level managers and key employees
