The Family and Consumer Sciences program in Clark County strives to build strong families through educational programming. Programs focus on the following issues: * Improve nutrition and lifestyle choices from infancy through retirement; * Manage time, money and other resources; * Address community health and environmental concerns; * Manage the multiple roles of work and family life; * Build strong families though relationship skills, conflict management skills, and shared values. These issues are addressed through programs offered in the community, newsletters offering information on these specific issues, and information offered via new technologies, such as this website.
