The latest sources of data indicate that the cash receipts for Carroll County in 2007 is 83.1 million, 38th largest in Ohio. There are 730 farms consisting of 120,000 acres.

Carroll County produces 37 million pounds of milk by 2,000 dairy cows which makes it 38th largest in Ohio 6.9 million of the 83.1 million cash receipts. 23,300 acres of hay makes for 6th largest in Ohio with 1.4 million. Small grains produces totals 4,000 acres coming in at 5th largest producer of oats in Ohio. Soybeans produce 2.2 million with 6,900 acres. Cattle and calves total 16,400 head which totals 2.2 million. There is over 10,700 acres of corn equaling 1.5 million. Christmas tree, and nursery crops are second largest in Ohio at 65 million.
