Advisory Committee

Adults and youth have the opporunity to become members of the Adams County 4-H Advisory Committee. Applications are due September 15 each year.

Camp Counselors

Experience camp life as a counselor. You'll work closely with campers, take on a leadership role, develop the camp program and have fun! All interested youth ages 14 and older may apply to counsel at one of this summer's 4-H camps. Applicants must complete and return an application; participate in an interview; and if selected, complete a minimum of 24 hours of training and preparation, including Counselor College at Canter's Cave, March 24 and 25, 2012.

  • Applications to become a counselor are due to OSU Extension Adams County on January 31 by 4:30 pm
  • Interviews for all applicants will be held Tuesday,
    February 7 and will be scheduled at the time you submit your application.

  • Counselor College dates: March 24 and 25, 2012. 
  • Beginners Camp dates: June 18-21, 2012.
  • Teen Camp dates: June 22-25, 2012.
  • Junior High Camp dates: June 25-28, 2012.

Scholarships

Each year, older 4-H members have the opportunity to apply for college scholarships on both the county and state levels.  Members will need to complete an application and participate in an interview with members from the Adams County 4-H Scholarship Subcommittee.
